Description:
The entrance side of this house is about 5 feet high and 3 wide; the floor is about 12 by 6 feet; is about 12 feet high in centre, the W. wall is one solid rock about 6 cubical feet, leaned upon which is a large cromlech sloping to the earth and forming the roof and the E. wall. It is about 20 feet long, 8 broad and 5 feet thick. This house is in the midst of similar rocks amongst which grow some brick and hawthorns.
Situation:
Situated in the S.W. part of Limnaheltya a little W. of Kylemore Lake and about 2 chains N. of new road from Clifden to Westport.
