Description:
This school was established in 1834 by the Board of Education at the expense of £150. It is 60 feet long and 20 feet wide and proportionably high, adapted for a male and female school. the latter not commenced. The R.C. Master is paid £10 from the Board per annum and about £15 more from the scholars, the present number is 75 of whom 51 are boys and 6 are Protestants.
Situation:
Near the S.E. part of Selerne about the middle of the S. boundary of Mooneen and on S. side of the road from Cleggan quay to Omey.
