James Jameson, Esq. or Michl. D. Bellew, Esq., Proprietors. This townland contains 237 acres, 209 of which are cultivated, 28 uncultivated. Tenants at will. Rent £1 p. acre. County Cess from 2s. 6d. to 2s.10p. acre yearly. This townland has paid no tithe these 4 years. Boggy soil. No mineral. Produce oats, barley, flax, wheat and potatoes. No antiquity.
Situation:
Situated about 1¼ mile S.W. from Newtown Bellew. It is bounded N. by Moyloughbeg, E. by Mullaghmore East, S. by MullaghmoreWest and W. by Cooloo Mountain. The road from Newtown Bellew to Tuam is the S.E. boundary of it. In Tiaquin Barony.
