Description:
The property of Mr. Henry Hancock, Esq., Carrantrilla, Co. Galway. It contains 315½ acres statute measure including about 105 acres of arable land and the remainder bog. There are three ancient forts in this townland one of which is called Strawberry Hill Fort.
Situation:
In the W. extremity of the parish, bounded on the N. by the townland of Cloonagh, on the S. by Culnaslieve, E. by Knockanagot and W. by the parish of Addragoole.
